Lincoln Gallery Façade Renovation Project
DS Constructors assisted the owners of a local artist’s cooperative to garner funds from the city of Loveland initiative to improve downtown business appearances. These funds allowed the co-op to update the outward look and feel of their gallery building. DSC started by removing the antiquated canvas awning and replaced them with modern and creative steel awnings at both the front and back entries.
Before…
After!
The outdated mural on the North side of the building was painted over to make room for a new artist to provide a new feel and inspire the creative community to look towards the future.
This wall and the others were painted with a three color design that owner and project directors agreed would change appearances as the selection process for a new artist begins. The sliding glass door was replaced with a cleaner and more secure steel door and side lite to allow more natural light into the space. Helping a local, community-oriented business evolve was an inspiring and creative project to tackle.
