Two Projects One Roof – EPDM and HVAC
We’re proud to share the successful completion of two major upgrades at the Loveland Museum: an EPDM roof replacement and comprehensive HVAC improvements, including new RTUs, curbs, roof-mounted ductwork, controls, electrical, and supporting mechanical upgrades.
Being awarded both projects allowed our team to coordinate the work simultaneously, streamlining scheduling and minimizing impacts to operations. During preconstruction, we identified gaps in the original roof design and provided alternate solutions that completed the full scope at a lower overall cost, delivering early savings to the City.
Despite design revisions, long-lead equipment, and a fall start that brought weather and temperature considerations, our team executed the work quickly and efficiently to avoid any downtime or disruptions.
Working in an active, public museum environment required careful coordination with exhibit schedules and diligent protection of artifacts and displays; and our crews rose to the challenge.
This project is a great example of how DS Constructors supports clients through design completion, problem-solving, and construction in occupied facilities; all while keeping safety, schedule, and budget front and center.
